Cookie Policy

Cookies are small text files a website can save in your browser. Some are needed to make a page work; others follow you around the internet to show you ads. This page explains which kind you will find on the Second Life Cleanouts website. The short answer: very few, and none for advertising.

Cookies we set ourselves

None. Our own pages are plain, fast-loading pages that do not save cookies in your browser.

Our fonts are stored on our own server, so loading a page does not send a request to Google Fonts or any other font service.

Analytics without cookies

We want to know which pages help people, but we do not need to know who you are to learn that.

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts visits and page views without setting cookies, without using local storage and without fingerprinting your device. We also use Google Search Console, which reports how our pages appear in Google search. Search Console works on Google's side and does not place anything on this website.

The estimate form

The one exception is our free estimate form. It is provided by GoHighLevel (also called LeadConnector) and loads inside a frame from their domain. That form may set its own cookies or use local storage on its domain, for things like keeping the form working, remembering what you typed, and preventing spam.

Those cookies belong to GoHighLevel, not to us, and are covered by their policies. If you would rather not use the form, you can call or text us instead and skip it entirely.

What you will not find here

We keep the site free of the tracking that most people find intrusive.

  • No advertising cookies
  • No retargeting or social media tracking pixels
  • No selling or sharing of browsing data

Why there is no cookie banner

Cookie banners exist to ask permission for cookies a site does not strictly need, usually for analytics or advertising. Our own pages do not set any of those, and our analytics are cookieless, so there is nothing on our site to ask you about. The estimate form manages its own cookies on its own domain. If we ever add something that needs your consent, we will update this page and ask you first.

How to manage cookies in your browser

Every major browser lets you see, block and delete cookies. Here is where to find the settings.

  • Chrome: Settings, then Privacy and security, then Third-party cookies.
  • Safari (Mac): Settings, then Privacy. On iPhone and iPad, open the Settings app, then Safari.
  • Firefox: Settings, then Privacy & Security, then Enhanced Tracking Protection.
  • Edge: Settings, then Cookies and site permissions.

Blocking third-party cookies may stop the estimate form from loading or submitting. If that happens, you can still reach us by phone, text or email.

More about your information

Cookies are only one part of how we handle information. Our privacy policy covers what we collect when you request an estimate, how our appointment texts work and how to ask us to delete your details.
